Best Practices
Be sure to submit your best practices after reading John Sumser's article in the ERN today.
From the Bureau
In 2000, States with the fastest growth in real Gross State Product (GSP) were located in the west and the northeast areas of the Nation.
Idaho, Oregon, California, and Arizona had robust growth in high-tech manufacturing, and Colorado had strong growth in business services and communications. Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York had strong growth in finance, insurance, and real estate and in services. Alaska and Louisiana were the only States in which real GSP declined in 2000 (mining, including oil and gas extraction, decreased). Real GSP for the Nation grew at an annual rate of 4.5 percent from 1999 to 2000.
