From the Bureau
Nevada, New Mexico, California, and Florida led the Nation in personal income growth in the second quarter of 2001. The growth in these States was fueled by earnings strength in services and in finance, insurance, and real estate.

For the Nation, personal income growth slowed to 0.8 percent in the second quarter from 1.4 percent in the first quarter. The deceleration was mainly accounted for by declines in manufacturing, construction, transportation, and public utilities, and by slower growth in services and trade.

Agency.com and executive search firm Spencer Stuart have launched a corporate portal and Strategic Leadership Services site to help Spencer Stuart's employees more efficiently deliver their core offerings.

Reveille
Tesseract Corporation and Recruiting Solutions, Inc. will market combined solutions to seamlessly integrate their respective human resource manager and applicant tracking system, giving customers real-time data transfers between the two. CareerJournal.com now has a bookstore, designed to offer a wide range of best selling products and solutions specifically focused on the needs of career savvy executives.
