The October edition shows significant positive movement at the State level for the first time in 3 months. Although the full effects of the September tragedies have not taken their full effect on the economy, this may be a sign that employers are picking up the pace in filling empty positions.
Executive Talent Demand Index
Overall demand for executive talent decreased by 27 percent in the third quarter of 2001 compared to the same quarter of 2000. MIS/IT executive demand continued to plummet (-58%) year-over-year as the Internet economy and other businesses slowed significantly.
