The revised estimates for Year 2000 State personal income indicates that Massachusetts, Colorado, California, and New Hampshire had the fastest growth in personal income for the year. In contrast, three Southeast States—Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi—and Hawaii and Nebraska had the slowest personal income growth.
Personal income for the Nation grew 7.0 percent in 2000, slightly slower than the 7.3 percent rate in the preliminary estimates released in April.
All 50 States and the District of Columbia had increases in personal income that substantially outpaced the 2.7-percent increase in prices paid by U.S. consumers (as measured by the price index for personal consumption expenditures).

eWork Exchange acquires Brava Services, a third-party employer payroll service and independent contractor compliance company for the high-technology industry.
Reveille
Worknowledge, a provider of human capital development and e-learning solutions, received $2.5 million in Series B funding led by Aktiva Ventures the venture capital arm of a European financial holding company. The company's has raised $3.8 million to date.
F*@!*!Company.com reports that JobOptions.com, online job board pioneer founded nearly 10 years ago, essentially went out of business. Also, rumor is Icarian.com laid off more than half its staff, offering no severance or other goodbye benefits.
