Where To Begin ...

Blood Donation
Put giving blood on your calendar. Contact your local Red Cross or hospital blood bank to find out when they need you. Set up an appointment (800-GIVE-LIFE) with the Red Cross. Breathe deeply and have patience.

craigslist compiled a list of donation centers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The New York Times has published a list of
blood donation centers in and around the city and a list of emergency numbers and hotlines.
Relief Funds
The United Way of New York and the New York Community Trust have
established a fund to help the victims of the attacks and their
families. The September Eleventh Fund will provide immediate support to
established emergency assistance agencies. Contributions are accepted on the UWNYC website, over the phone (212) 251-4035, or can be mailed to:

Office Space
Hunt-Scanlon has offered the use of its offices in Stamford, Connecticut, to anyone in need. If you need a phone and a PC, they extend a welcome.
Silicon Alley Reporter emailed us to say that it also has office space, desks, and a wi-fi/802.11 network if any company out there needs a place to set up camp.
