Revised productivity data for the second quarter of
2001 indicates that the seasonally adjusted annual rates of productivity change
in the second quarter were: 2.2 percent in the business sector and 2.1 percent
in the nonfarm business sector. In both sectors, increases in productivity were
smaller than reported on August 7; both output and hours movements were revised
down.

According to McAfee, the W32/APost@mm ("APost" or "New Backdoor") worm has been spreading, and is considered a medium on watch worm. The infected email can come from addresses that you recognize and may contain the following information:

JobOptions/BTM Job-Listing Index
After an impressive pickup in July, August online job postings weakened, continuing into early September. The JobOptions/BTM Job-Listing Index (JLI), although nearly 5 percent stronger than the prior week's reading, remained near its recent low level. On a 4-week moving average basis, JLI decreased by 22.9 percent from the prior week. (Go to Latest Weekly Release.)
