TeckChek, a provider of vendor-independent IT skills assessment services introduced Automated Score Interpretations, a new tool designed to help customers more quickly and easily assess the IT skills of employment candidates.
Novient, provider of Internet-based service process optimization solutions, is interfacing consultant and skill information from mySap Human Resources into its Resource Management module.
JobBankUSA.com reports that its ResumeBroadcaster.com service has delivered 5 million resumes to its database of more than 8,300 employers and recruiters worldwide.
State Update
According to a new legal opinion from the California Division of Labor Standards California companies planning temporary shutdowns must pay white-collar employees' salaries for up to a month, 3 weeks longer than current practice. The opinion also forbids companies from forcing exempt employees to take vacation time and bans partial vacation days, all of which could hamper plans by companies to hold down costs by sending workers home.
