New Combinations
E-Cruiter.com acquires Allen And Associates Inc., a full-service outplacement/marketing firm delivering career transitioning and recruitment services in an all-stock transaction.
E-business software solutions provider, SAP AG will acquire TopTier Software, Inc., provider of enterprise information portal software and related integration products for approximately $400 million in cash. TopTier has been a partner of SAP since 1999 and its technology is already integrated within the mySAP Workplace.
Concur Technologies, Inc. has sold its human resources products division to workforce management firm MBH Solutions, Inc. (formerly MBH Consulting, Inc). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Survey Says ...
Recruiters Network conducted a poll asking users which Internet recruiting method yields the most hires for their companies? Of the 400 respondents, 49 percent listed job postings as the most successful method, 31 percent listed resume databases, while company websites and search engines/flip searches each got 10 percent.
