Walks On Water, Raises Dead Stocks Finding the right CEO is everything. If you can "Walk On Water and Raise Dead Stocks," be sure to read the Electronic Recruiting News. Even if you can't, this is a story you will want to follow.
You Are Getting Sleepy...
According to a recent report by the National Sleep Foundation, one in five adults (22%) is so sleepy during the day it interferes with daily activities a few days a week or more. (DIS) announced Tuesday that it intends to cut its workforce by 4,000 employees, or about 3%, citing the "softening economy and weakening advertising revenues at ABC and other media outlets" as the reason for the cuts. Yahoo! Career
Spencer Stuart Talent Network has been charged with finding a new CEO for Yahoo.com. Appearently, the struggling portal's own jobs area wasn't attracting just the right caliber of candidates. The Company requests that applicants be experienced senior executives with successful track records in growing diversified global businesses with at least $1 billion in revenues. Applicants should also be willing to commute to Santa Clara on a daily basis should they decide to take the job.
