No Easy Answers
There are several, hard to reconcile, approaches to the integration of the Internet into a Recruiting practice. Read more in John Sumser's article in the Electronic Recruiting News.
The Employment Situation
Payroll employment increased by 94,000 in November, and the unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 4.0 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Employment rose by 148,000 in the private sector, with gains in the service-producing industries. Employment was little changed in the goods-producing industries and declined in government. Average hourly earnings increased by 6 cents.
Check Out the Competition

Couldn't Pass This Up
The results of the first national Top Ten City G.U.T. List (Gastrointestinal Upset Tracker) showed California is the overwhelming leader when it comes to gastrointestinal (GI) distress, with the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco/Oakland, and San Diego among the top ten. New York City takes second place, with Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth coming in third and fourth, respectively, for the nation. The G.U.T. rankings were based on per capita sales figures from the entire over-the-counter GI medication category.
