No Pulse On Its Own
A national survey on healthcare employment patterns by Medimorphus.com finds a surprising disparity between views on the Internet as a worthwhile tool for job filling/seeking. The survey revealed that while 54 percent of healthcare professionals would use the Internet to find a job, only 26 percent of employers include Internet recruiting in their current budgets. Also, 17 percent of employers surveyed post openings on job web sites, while 46 percent of healthcare professionals would use job sites to look for new positions. Similar discrepancies were revealed concerning the use of corporate websites for recruitment purposes, the use of traditional offline recruitment tactics, and the use of headhunters.
