The Outs Are Up
Challenger, Gray & Christmas report that during the month of November, there have been a record 8,789 announced dot.com jobs that have been cut, surpassing October's mark by 55 percent. Consulting, financial, and information services have suffered the most, with retail positions following. Since last December, 31,056 jobs cuts have been announced from 383 companies.

The Human Resource Certification Instituteand Professional Examination Service have signed a multiyear agreement for the administration of the two HRCI certification programs. HRCI is the credentialing affiliate of The Society for Human Resource Management.
