We Went
A rainy day in Boston brings the expected results to the Fast Company Talent Labs in today's ERN.

Life and Work
A study by the Work in America Institute investigated how companies are pursuing the dual agenda strategy of boosting business performance and improving work/life balance. The results showed that an increasing number of companies are finding that they can pursue both goals at the same time, and that when they start analyzing workflow and the design of jobs in terms of how they affect work/life balance, they find that they start making improvements in the way they get work done. They also found that with this approach, it is less likely that work/life initiatives would get scrapped during an economic downturn.

Oh, the Possibilities
Manpower, techies.com, and the National Association of Manufacturers are sponsoring GetTech, a multimedia campaign designed to encourage young people to prepare for careers that use math, science, and technology skills. The GetTech campaign will include national television and radio public service announcements, and will ship informational materials to public schools nationwide.
