Healthcare Cost Crisis The
New York Times reports on the rising costs of healthcare and
how some companies are dealing with the increases.
Buck Consultants, in
its fourth National Health Care Trend Survey, surveyed more than 80
health insurers, HMOs, and third-party administrators and found that
employer's healthcare costs are expected to increase at double-digit
rates.
The Survey of Health and Welfare Benefit Plans 2000 from Arthur
Andersen queried more than 450 companies and found that although
overall company medical costs are on the rise, employers are
enhancing their fringe benefit offerings and are providing more
medical coverage to part-time employees. The findings indicate that
medical costs increased 10.5 percent from 1999, after rising an
initial 9.2 percent from 1998.

for the voting rights in Job-Today, one of Germany`s leading online
