Keep The Brand In Front Of The Customer
Today in the Electronic Recruiting News, we dig into our vault to pull some classic John Sumser. The topic? Brand awareness.
Reveille
TechRepublic reports it has expanded the functionality and design of its Web site.
Venture capital firms poured $282 million into 21 of Fairfax County Virginia's technology firms in the second quarter of 2000.
HR One, human resources information and services provider, received funding from Heritage Partners of Boston bringing the total capital raised by the company to $9 million.

Vault.com has raised $10 million in a series B preferred round.
Dell Computers signed a global contract for recruiting solutions with Monster.com. The deal includes job postings, company profiles, and worldwide access to the job board's resume database.
State of the Unions
One author addresses the role of the unions in the new economy. Another reports on new hiring practices that may be at odds with the unions.
