Success Stories
We take a stroll through the archives to find a diamond in the rough. Check out today's Electronic Recruiting News.

It's 3 Perks In 1
A Washington Post report on Maryland's home ownership program, which helps workers purchase a home near their place of employment. The "Live Near Your Work" program is designed as a company benefit, to stimulate homeownership, and to reduce rush-hour traffic.

Dear Diary
A worthwhile read for anyone in the business of finding and filling jobs.

Reveille
The Salary.com Wizard is now available on the Hoover's Online Career Development Channel.

MorganWorks was selected as the hiring source for sales positions for Kinko's and the Miller Brewing Company.

Net-Temps jobs are now cross-posted to the AltaVista Career Channel.

CareerCast has been selected to power job and resume databases for ITWorld.com, Computerworld, InfoWorld, JavaWorld, SunWorld, LinuxWorld, Network World, and CIO.com. The company also reports it will aggregate jobs from employer websites for The New York Times.

Online skills certification firm Brainbench closed its third venture round of $12 million from Manpower Inc. and Thomson Learning.

Introverted Or Was That Intuitive?
CareerBuilder and MSN Careers found that one-fourth of the nearly 6,000 job seekers responding to a recent poll are either reluctant to take employer-mandated personality tests or would refuse to take such tests. One professional examines personality test vendors and automated selection systems.
