A survey conducted by OfficeTeam asked the question, "In your opinion, has the level of office politics in the workplace increased or decreased compared to 5 years ago?" Interestingly, more than a third (36 percent) of employees polled said the level of office politics has increased greatly compared to 5 years ago, but only 12 percent of executives noted such a rise. An element in the Underbelly of Attrition?
The Clueless and The Got Its
Careerjournal.com released a report evaluating the web sites of companies included in the S&P 500 stock index for their accessibility to career opportunities. The report found that 71 percent of the web sites make employment information just one click away from their home pages. Twenty percent offer job information between two and five clicks away from their home pages and surprisingly; 9 percent fail to offer any guidance for job seekers.

CareerSite Corporation will power HVAConlineJobs.com, a recruitment site focusing on the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration trades.
