Pension Plans
The U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging is hearing complaints from veteran employees as companies are converting to new pension plans. These plans frequently save employers money and provide younger workers with pensions that are more flexible and easier to carry from job to job. Advocates for older people, however, say they violate antidiscrimination laws because, in many cases, promised pension benefits are reduced for workers with long service.
New Combinations

Nationwide Consultants partners with vJungle.com to offer a suite of dedicated small business services free to Nationwide's users.
Healthcare career resource MedCareers was chosen by healthcare staffing company J&C Nationwide to develop and provide career center technology for J&C's new website.

Navy Recruiting Command unveils a newly revised website, featuring downloadable videos and Navy digital images.
WhizBang! Labs, creator of the FlipDog.com job site, has completed a $30 million round of private financing led by Dominion Ventures.
