Advantage Hiring released three new tools: Net-Interview, allowing employers to embed an electronic interview within a job posting, and Base-Interview and Team-Interview providing online tools for creating interviewing guides.
JobDirect.com announced new customers to its roster for sourcing and recruiting college graduates. They include IBM, Chase Manhattan, Cap Gemini, MBNA, Charles Schwab, National Semiconductor, Advanced Power Conversion, Seagate Technologies, LSI Logic Corporation, and Northrup Grumman.
WorkSeek.com offers a new payment model whereby employers pay a flat fee only when a candidate is hired.
AIRS releases SearchStation 3.0, a Web-based search ASP that is designed to find resumes, home pages, and passive candidates.
CareerPath.com offers Resume Scout, which allows simultaneous access to multiple resume databases from a single point of access.

Managing Knowledge
A new study "Strategies for the Knowledge Economy: From Rhetoric to Reality" from Korn Ferry International and the Center for Effective Organizations at the University of Southern California, found that more than 70 percent of employees report knowledge is not reused across the company; 88 percent say they do not have access to lessons learned elsewhere in the organization; and 64 percent do not take advantage of the electronic tools available to them.
