Go Figure
Career Central Corporation is changing its name to Cruel World, to reflect the start of extensive innovations the company reports it is bringing to Internet recruiting. According to CEO Jeffrey Hyman, the old name inferred the company was a job board, whereas Cruel World acknowledges the trying career experiences many people have in common. If the new advertising campaign and logo (a porcupine with a briefcase) urges the workforce to "Work Happily Ever After," how does one do that in a cruel world? And, who would want to hire a prickly employee, anyway.

INTERNET REACHING PASSIVE JOB SEEKERS

The Internet is the primary source of highly skilled employees. The best candidates don't even bother with resumes. Less than 25% of top performers have a resume ready. Most are "passive job seekers." A senior executive from ilogos.com writes, "Find a way to communicate with them and you'll reap gold." A California based company, recruitsoft.com advocates a solution to find the golden passive job seeker. Candidates are encouraged to participate in a confidential and skill-based questionnaire. Upon completion the candidate submits his skills for analysis. No one wastes the candidates' time and the process is 100% confidential. recruitsoft.com is comprised of specialists in the field of human resources management and web based business solutions.
