Triangles In Court
CNET reports that a Virginia State Court of Appeals issued a preliminary injunction reinstating the deal between HotJobs.com and America Online subsidiary Digital City. HotJobs charged Digital City with breaking the advertising contract after AOL entered into an exclusive advertising agreement with Monster.com. TMP issued a press release stating that it believes this injunction will have no effect on its rights to supply career search services across certain AOL brands.
New Combinations
Heidrick & Struggles' LeadersOnline announced an agreement that will extend its reach and services to information technology professionals through IDG's Itcareers.
The arrin System will be providing background checking services to both Resumix and Career.com.

New beta site FlipDog.com reports that it visits and extracts jobs from more 25,000 employer websites.
Bugler Reveille
recruitsoft.com has adopted a pay-per-hire fee structure that charges corporate recruiters on the basis of actual positions filled successfully.
CMGI Inc. reported second-quarter revenue of $153.5 million, a 294-percent increase over the second quarter of 1999 and a 24-percent increase from the first quarter of 2000.
Guru.com announced that more than 100,000 freelance professionals have registered with the service. The company also reported site enhancements.
KPMG Consulting has selected the Hire.com e-Recruiter to power Career Opportunities on its website.
Campuscareercenter.com received $1.2 million in financing from Fountainhead, a Belgian venture capital firm.
