Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claims Report
In the week ending February 19, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 278,000, a decrease of 7,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 285,000. The 4-week moving average was 286,500, an increase of 3,000 from the previous week's revised average of 283,500. The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 1.7 percent for the week ending February 12, unchanged from the prior week's unrevised rate of 1.7 percent.

When choosing a job, corporate values are considered to be important to 84 percent of the students polled in a recent JobTrak.com survey.
