IT*CareerNET, Inc. has signed a joint marketing contract with Miami-based 5th Avenue Channel, which will allow IT*CareerNET.com, Inc. to link its IT recruiting and career services with 5th Avenue Channel's soon-to-be-launched broadcast cable television and Internet video-streamed content.
Monster.com has become the first dot.com sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Games, and has been named the Official Online Career Management Services Sponsor of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and the 2002 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Teams. Also in the news is Monster.com's donation of a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl to promote Groundhog Shadow Day, a nationwide effort to give young people a close-up look at careers. Monster is also hosting a Virtual Job Shadowing event on the official Job Shadow Day website.
