BTM Market Report
It was a fairly quiet day with narrow ranges being traded. USD/JPY mainly traded between the 105.35 – 60 range, moving higher late on US investment bank interest. The market seems to be on the sidelines waiting for this weekend's G7 meeting results. Unless USD/JPY breaks the resistance level of 106.35, which has capped the topside for the past few weeks. EURO/USD had initially opened lower after a rumor that proved false said that Germany's IFO number to be released on Thursday would be stronger than expected. EURO/USD spent the rest of the day working its way back above the 1.0100 level, it was helped by losses posted in the Dow throughout the day.
