Business Tax Change Would Create New Jobs in State
Wisconsin Governor Tommy G. Thompson and Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen unveiled a plan to switch that state's corporate income tax to a single sales factor which taxes companies based only on sales instead of the current combination of sales, property, and payroll. The new tax plan would create approximately 67,000 new jobs in Wisconsin.
